ria is a senior at the colony high school in north texas. she is president of the student council and nhs, drum major and wants to be a neurosurgeon. we took a trip out to a beautiful park a couple days after christmas and even though it was windy and chilly, she braved the cold in bare legs and we got some gorgeous shots. congratulations on a momentous occasion and all my best wishes in the future!

nikon & george
meet nikon and george. nikon is the pretty speckled one with a really long tongue. george is the silly black one that likes to roll around in the grass. this shoot was a bit of a challenge for me because i have never photographed dogs before but they were such good sports with my big camera in their faces all morning. it's so much fun getting to know dogs - each has his or her own personality and these two definitely showed their personality during our morning together!

erica: the artist
in high school, erica used to draw all over her notebooks. today she is an amazing artist with her artwork hanging in galleries and people requesting her work.
i got to spend a lovely morning with this talented artist shooting in her garage studio and got a glimpse into her incredibly creative mind. here's wishing you all the luck in the future erica!

robert & annie
when robert contacted me about doing a daddy-daughter session i was excited because up to that point, i had only taken photos of adults and children separately. the pair showed up in matching outfits and i even matched them with my converse! it sprinkled a little during the shoot but the big trees allowed us to keep shooting during the rain. robert and annie laughed and joked throughout the shoot - it was such a fun morning with these two.

amaris
when i met little amaris, she was shy and a little cranky because of a runny nose. after an hour of shooting i was worried she didn't like me. at the end of the shoot when we were walking out of the gardens, amaris grabbed my hand and her mom told me that she must really like me because she never did that with people.
